Clinical Director, General Surgery | San Antonio, TX Up to $137K based on experience. Sign-on and relocation available. A growing 253-bed acute care hospital in one of the fastest-growing parts of San Antonio is hiring a Clinical Director for General Surgery. The surgical department averages more than 500 cases a month and is adding new robotics and neurology programs. The role • Lead nursing services for the surgical department, including IntraOp, GI, recovery and anesthesia techs • 48 direct reports, reporting to the Administrative Director of Surgery • Own quality, patient outcomes, policy and regulatory compliance • Build and manage the department budget, productivity and staffing • Coach, develop and evaluate staff and keep patient flow moving What you need • BSN required (BSN in progress considered) • Active RN license in Texas or a compact state • AHA BLS • 3 to 5 years of clinical patient care experience • 2+ years of healthcare leadership as a supervisor or manager • Master's degree in nursing, health administration or business preferred Schedule: Full time, 5 days, 8 hours.
