Part-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Marion, OH. Join a facility-based provider team delivering specialized wound care to residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. What You'll Do • Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic wounds for skilled nursing and long-term care residents • Develop and manage individualized wound care treatment plans • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with Arkansas law • Order, review and follow up on diagnostic tests and treatments • Communicate regularly with nursing facility staff about changes in condition or care plans • Collaborate with primary care providers and the interdisciplinary care team • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR What You Bring • Current, unrestricted Ohio Nurse Practitioner license and NP board certification • DEA registration optional • Adult, family or geriatric clinical background with prior wound care experience • Comfort diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous and mixed-etiology wounds, and staging pressure injuries per NPIAP guidelines • Experience with wound VACs and pressure-relieving equipment • Wound care certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain it • Long-term care experience, EMR proficiency and strong interdisciplinary teamwork skills Schedule & Compensation • Part-time, facility-based role in the Harrison, AR area • Compensation details shared by your recruiter Benefits • Health insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Paid time off • Malpractice and disability insurance • Mileage reimbursement • Continuing education credits • Recertification reimbursement About i4 Search Group i4 Search Group connects healthcare professionals with top employers.
