Clinical Pharmacist – Louisville, KY Full time, onsite, Mon-Fri **Open to decreased hours if desired** We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a growing organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in the field of IV nutrition and sterile compounding!! The Clinical Pharmacist will be a licensed pharmacist and will: • Provide consultation to optimize patient outcomes • Monitor sterile compounding, technician, and shipping schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain quality assurance standards for sterile compounding, reporting relevant data • Ensure compliance with established procedures concerning controlled substances, hazardous waste disposal, and regulatory requirements. • Monitor patient information, lab values, dosing for safety and efficacy • Perform additional duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: • Some oversight of technicians and other operational personnel. • Participate in operations meetings and ensure efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and professionalism. • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, state pharmacy board regulations, and employment laws. Education and Experience: • PharmD or equivalent, or 2 years of related experience/training. • Minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy or clinical pharmacy residency experience. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: • Current Pharmacist License with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy. • Compliance with all continuing education requirements.
