Senior Accountant Wayne, PA This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to support accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory reporting within an established financial services organization. Responsibilities: • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. • Assist with financial statements and internal and external reporting. • Support SEC and regulatory reporting requirements. • Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management. • Maintain strong accounting controls and accurate general ledger records. • Support internal and external audits. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting. • Assist with accounting policies and procedures. • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 3+ years of accounting experience in financial services, insurance, or public accounting. • Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting. • Experience with SEC reporting, SOX controls, or regulatory reporting preferred. • Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and reconciliations. • Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems experience. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
