In this role you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Lafayette, IN. About the Schedule: • Forty hour work week. 4-10 hour shifts. Enjoy long weekends every weekend! • The schedule will alternate weekly: Week 1: Monday through Thursday and Week 2: Tuesday through Friday • This alternating schedule will continue from week to week. The anticipated hours are 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM. What You’ll Do • Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records • Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments • Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations • Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies • Performs other duties as assigned What You’ll Bring • National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required • Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
