Your New Role • Perform sheet metal layout, design, and installation to support the construction of commercial HVAC systems. • Handle equipment rigging and assist with the safe positioning and installation of large mechanical equipment. • Install and set commercial HVAC equipment, including pumps, chillers, and cooling towers. • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and HVAC schematics to ensure accurate installations. • Perform control wiring tasks as required for HVAC equipment installation. • Support mechanical piping and equipment installation while maintaining quality and safety standards. • Troubleshoot installation challenges and apply practical solutions to keep projects moving forward. • Prepare and submit accurate job progress reports to communicate project updates. • Coordinate with fellow installers and project team members to complete work efficiently and accurately. • Maintain a safe, organized job site while following established installation procedures and safety requirements. • Take ownership of your workmanship and help deliver commercial HVAC installations that meet project specifications.
