PPS Trades is seeking an experienced Residential Roofer to join an established Northeast Ohio construction company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced roofer to join a well-established local team that has been building, rehabbing, maintaining, and repairing homes and buildings throughout Northeast Ohio for nearly 50 years. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands residential shingle roofing, and can confidently handle installation and repair projects. [What You’ll Do] • Perform residential roof maintenance, repairs, and installations at various customer locations. • Install and repair shingle roofs and related roofing materials. • Inspect roofing systems and identify areas requiring repair or replacement. • Repair or replace roof decking as needed. • Re-nail roof sheathing when required. • Install ice shields, felt, drip edge, shingles, vents, stink pipes, tins, and valleys. • Properly prepare roof surfaces before installing new materials. • Complete roofing projects according to company quality and safety standards. • Work as part of a professional roofing crew to complete projects efficiently. • Maintain a clean and safe work area at each job site. [What We’re Looking For] • At least 2 years of residential shingling/roofing experience. • Strong understanding of residential roofing installation and repair. • Experience working with common roofing materials and installation methods. • Must have your own roofing tools. • Valid driver’s license or proof of driving privileges. • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. • Ability to work outdoors and remain physically active throughout the workday. • Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. More roofing experience = more earning potential!
