Plumbing Designer About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer to join a growing engineering team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will contribute to projects from initial concept through construction, gaining exposure to every phase of the design process. Responsibilities • Design plumbing systems for a variety of commercial building projects. • Prepare construction documents and detailed plumbing drawings using Revit. • Coordinate designs with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines. • Apply applicable building codes, engineering standards, and industry best practices. • Assist with projects from conceptual design through construction administration. • Collaborate with senior engineers while developing technical knowledge and design expertise. • Participate in project meetings and support coordination throughout the design process. Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of plumbing drafting and design experience in an architectural/engineering (A/E) environment. • High level of proficiency with Autodesk Revit. • Strong understanding of building codes and general engineering practices. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment. • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field. • Technical certifications related to plumbing design or BIM.
