We do not offer H-1B or other visa sponsorship for this position. We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing plumbing systems, including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads. They will also be expected to develop project specifications, perform site evaluations, attend meetings with clients and project teams, and provide construction administration. What we offer: • Health, dental, vision insurance, short and long-term disability • 401k with employer contribution • PTO and Paid Holidays • Continuing education assistance Responsibilities • Design plumbing systems, including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads. • Develop project specifications and perform site evaluations. • Attend meetings with clients and project teams. • Develop contract drawings from Schematics through Construction Documents. • Prepare filing drawings. • Provide construction administration, including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT. • Strong skills in Elite Fire Hydraulic Calculations Software. • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
