Job ID: 78707 Location: CA- 90% remote Overview: Job Opportunity for Workers Compensation Associate Attorney or Senior Attorney with reputable mid-sized CA firm Job Title: Workers Compensation Attorney OR Sr. Attorney What you will be doing: • Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers, third party administrators, and self-insured employers • Draft pleadings • Attend court appearances • Manage calendar • Conduct depositions and cross-examinations of doctors • Negotiate settlements on workers’ compensation files • Negotiate lien claims • Mentor and manage legal assistant • Establish relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors • Meet deadlines for client correspondence • Attend client file reviews • Conduct training seminars for clients on changing workers’ compensation case law • Understand and maintain current knowledge of workers’ compensation case law and statutes What you must have: • CA licensure • 2-10+ years of workers compensation experience Salary/Rate Range: • $135k-220k salary DOE • Bonuses available for exceeding billables Benefits: • Medical, dental and vision • 401k • Unlimited PTO • 11 paid holidays Other Information: • 90% remote; onsite to your local office on an as needed basis • 1-2 round interview process For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at www.teemagroup.com
