Job Title: Family Practice Physician (MD) – Full Time Job ID: 90597 Location: Elko, Nevada Overview: We are seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician (MD) to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. This position is ideal for a physician who is comfortable treating patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults, and who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Schedule: • Full-time position • Four 10-hour shifts per week • Hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Rotating schedule: • Monday through Thursday, or • Tuesday through Friday What you will be doing: • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. • Conduct routine physical examinations, preventive health screenings, and wellness visits. • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. • Develop and manage individualized treatment and care plans. • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication therapies as clinically appropriate. • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies. • Provide patient and family education regarding preventive care, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices. • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed. • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation within the electronic health record. • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining patient safety and quality standards. What you must have: • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with experience in Family Practice/Primary Care. • Active and unrestricted Nevada medical license required. • Current Nevada Controlled Substance (CDS) registration and DEA registration required. • Current BLS certification required. • Must be comfortable and qualified to provide primary care to patients of all ages, beginning at 1 day old. • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient communication skills. • Ability to work effectively and independently in a busy primary care environment.
