Job Title: Senior Project Manager Professional PM4 Job ID: 89972 Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan What you will be doing: While operating without direct supervisory responsibilities, the Senior Project Manager leverages influence, credibility, and deep domain knowledge to: • Guide project teams through ambiguity and complexity throughout a project life cycle., • Acts as a mentor to less experienced project managers and helps support the development of best practices within the organization. • Align project execution with organizational strategy and business goals, working in close collaboration with the Project Director. • Ensure delivery excellence–on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards delighting Dematic customers. • Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within their project teams. What you must have: • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management. • Proven track record of successfully managing highly complex, strategic, and cross-functional projects with significant organizational impact. • Experience leading and motivating high-performing project teams. • Experience managing project budgets and financial performance. • Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships. • Experience managing project risks and issues. • Experience with project management methodologies. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration). Master’s preferred. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired. • Relevant project management experience may be substituted for a degree.
