Performs a variety of routine and special diagnostic procedures on clinical specimens for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Performs high complexity testing according to established procedures. Validates and report results of tests performed. Performs and documents Quality Control. Performs instrument and equipment maintenance according to policy and procedures. Maintains adequate stock of reagents and supplies. Participates in continuing education. Minimum Qualifications Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: B.S. Degree in Medical Technology or related science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) OR Certificate of Completion of a Medical Technology Training Program. OR Associates Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science WITH ASCP Certification as a Medical Technologist ' MT (ASCP) Equipment Operated: PC, printers, scanners.
