Responsibilities In this role the Surgical Technologist responsibilities are to assist as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeon, registered nurse, and anesthesiologist delivering direct patient care before, during and after surgery. Function as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under supervision of a registered nurse. Schedule FTE: .90 (3-12's shifts) Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am Days: Variable Location: Gainesville, FL Qualifications Education and Experience Required: Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program. Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: AST (Association of Surgical Technologists), NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing). Required to maintain active certification.
