The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery, lifesaving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more. Responsibilities The EP Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, assist physician in a scrub-assistant role, and circulates to include all diagnostic EP and cardiac ablations procedures, device implants and explants, cardiac cath procedures to ensures safe patient care. This is a prn day shift position. Qualifications • Education • Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, LPN license, or Paramedic license. • In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and: • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) • Licensure/Certification/Registration • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) • If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications: • • • • • • • -FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR • -FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR • -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR • -Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification • -any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields • BLS required • ACLS required • Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
