Opportunity: Physician – Neurology Job Details: • Neurohospitalist opportunity providing 24 weeks of inpatient coverage per year, defined as full weeks from 7 AM Monday to 7 AM Monday, including a share of evening call coverage • Provide attending coverage on the general neurology service, neurology consult service, or a combination of both • Examine, diagnose, manage, and treat patients presenting with a variety of neurological disorders • Provide inpatient consultation services for neurology patients • Participate in one half-day ambulatory clinic session during weeks of inpatient coverage • Actively participate in neurology didactic sessions and attend Hartford Hospital Grand Rounds and other teaching lectures virtually as appropriate • Participate in monthly Neurohospitalist Lecture Series • Opportunity to engage in additional activities such as clinical research, quality improvement, patient experience initiatives, resident and faculty interviews, and lectures to professional or public audiences • Position is open to BC/BE Neurologists • Access to robust academic and research opportunities as well as the Physician Leadership Development Institute Compensation: Employed salary with benefits.
