Opportunity: OB Hospitalist – Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details: • Inpatient OBGYN benefited position – hospital employed • 10 – 24-hour shifts per month with a 10 on-site hour requirement • No outpatient responsibilities • Rounding covers consults, deliveries, and admissions • Work in conjunction with an independent OB group • Call 1:4 with the addition of a Laborist • On-call physician responsible for ER admits and transfers • Average of 50 deliveries per month • VBACs are provided and C-sections are performed in the OR • OR team available 24/7 • 24/7 Pediatric and Cardiology coverage with a fulltime pediatric cardiologist on-site • Level IIIA NICU staffed with 3 Neonatologists and 3 APPs • Mobile transport team available • Seasoned nursing staff with 10+ years of Obstetric care experience • Strong focus on teamwork and an excellent collaborative culture • Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University including Medical Students, Family Practice Residents, and OB Residents on-site 24/7 Compensation: Employed salary with benefits.
