Opportunity: MD, DO – Hematology/Oncology – Oncology Job Details: • Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician needed for locum tenens coverage • New providers required to come in the day before first shift for orientation • Coverage dates needed: November 16-19 and December 21-23 • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with one hour for lunch • 99% outpatient setting with rare inpatient consults (approximately 1-2 per year) • Average of 15 patients per day per provider • No nights or weekends required • No ICU or Critical Care procedures • Not required to serve back-up in the ER • Work alongside a team of 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) • Utilize Epic Oncology EHR system • Active North Carolina license required with no J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available Compensation: Employed salary with benefits.
