The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for: - Completing patient registrations, discharges, and transfers - Collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information - Obtaining required consent signatures - Ensuring all necessary forms are completed and distributed - Communicating important details regarding a patient’s visit or admission Accuracy, efficiency, and strong patient interaction skills are key in this role.nEducation - High school diploma or equivalent required Experience - Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required - Experience with typing, word processing, and computer applications required - Previous experience in a medical office, registration, billing, or familiarity with medical terminology preferred
