Provides specialized care, examination, and treatment to sexual assault survivors. Openly collaborates across professions within and beyond MHS to meet individualized patient needs. Engages in continuing education to stay up to date on current legislation and evidence-based practice. Must be able to function independently as a SANE RN and have completed the Illinois SANE-A or SANE-P clinical requirements, with approval from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and board certification through the IAFN (SANE-A or SANE-P)."
