10 miles to Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP) 90 miles to Victoria 140 miles to San Antonio Outpatient Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00 PM. • Responsibilities: • Conduct intake evaluations, medication assessments. • Develop individual treatment plans based upon assessment data, and provide interventions as necessary including the provision of on-going medication management treatment. • Coordinate psychiatric aspects of treatment with clinical team members. • Provide consultation and health education to facility staff as relative to the treatment and medication needs of clients. • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide consultation as needed. • Maintain documentation of treatment including treatment plans, progress notes, medication informed consent, treatment plan reviews, and other required information in compliance with agency and third-party compliance standards. • Adhere to compliance guidelines for client care, policies, procedures and documentation. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • PMHNP ANCC board certification • Active PMHNP license(s) in the U.S. • 3+ years of psychiatric prescribing experience Experience/Skills/Knowledge: • Extensive knowledge of serious mental illness and substance use disorders and treatment by a variety of appropriate therapeutic interventions including psychopharmacology. • Knowledge of nursing practice and medical evaluation, physical diseases and treatment. • Knowledge of psychiatric and medical emergency stabilization. • Knowledge of social, psychological, and physical factors of mental and emotional disorders. • Knowledge and ability to understand and use medical and psychological terminology. • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to psychiatric nursing and the treatment of co-occurring disorders. • Skill in assessing symptoms and behavior patterns of emotionally disturbed and mentally ill patients. • Salary: $165,000-175,000 Fellowship: Skill:
