Temp to Hire Material Handler – 1st Shift Pay: $22-24/hr Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Perform shipping, receiving, and material handling operations. • Operate a company vehicle to make local pickups and deliveries, typically within a 5-mile radius. • Use manual and mechanized equipment to move, transport, and position materials. • Identify, count, verify, and organize items; stack materials on pallets or place them in designated bins. • Receive and store incoming materials, including compounds and wire, for future use. • Transport materials throughout the facility as needed. • Handle and stack materials safely to prevent injuries and damage to products, supplies, and equipment. • Check equipment fuel, lubrication, and coolant levels as needed. • Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or unusual conditions to supervisors. • Follow all established safety procedures and regulations. • Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Experience with warehouse processes required. • Working knowledge of MRP systems; Oracle experience preferred. • Manufacturing experience preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Excellent attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. • Ability to stand, twist, and bend for up to 50% of the workday. • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle for local deliveries. …Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis.
