An established community hospital in the Brockton, MA area is hiring a Nurse Manager to lead day-to-day nursing operations on its Med Surg unit! Why You’ll Love This Role • A natural next step for a strong bedside Med Surg RN ready to lead • Lead and develop a clinical team on an inpatient Med Surg unit • Drive quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes • Two openings available Schedule • Full-time • Fully onsite, in-person at the Brockton location (this is not a remote or hybrid role) Compensation • $90,000-$132,000 annually, based on experience • No signing bonus or relocation package What You’ll Do Provide unit-level leadership and operational oversight on an inpatient Med Surg unit: • Supervise and manage clinical and non-clinical staff, including daily operations and performance • Coordinate staffing and scheduling to maintain coverage and support patient care needs • Oversee clinical practice and care coordination, ensuring efficient patient flow • Identify, address, and escalate operational, staffing, and patient care issues • Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives • Promote staff competency through education, orientation, and unit-based training • Serve as a clinical and operational resource, providing direct patient care as needed What You Bring • Active Massachusetts RN license • BLS and ACLS certification • BSN from an accredited program • 3 years of acute Med Surg RN experience • Ability to supervise and train staff (formal leadership experience not required) • 5+ years of Med Surg experience, current supervisory experience, or specialty RN certifications a plus Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Life insurance • Retirement plan • Paid time off #toponehire #zip
