HR Generalist Location: New Paltz, NY Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Salary: $65,000–$70,000 About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a collaborative Human Resources team within a healthcare-focused organization. This position will provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers while partnering with leadership on employee relations, onboarding, leave administration, compliance, and performance management. Key Responsibilities • Provide HR guidance and support to employees and managers across the organization • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary issues, and performance concerns • Support leave administration, including FMLA • Coordinate onboarding and other employment-related processes • Partner with managers on staffing needs and employee performance • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries • Participate in employee meetings, investigations, and other HR initiatives • Stay current on HR best practices, policies, and regulatory changes Qualifications • 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience • Strong employee relations experience, including investigations • Experience with FMLA and leave administration • Experience managing onboarding processes • Experience working with HRIS/ATS systems • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered • Healthcare experience preferred • Experience working in a union environment is a plus • SHRM certification is a plus #toponehire
