Role: Staff Accountant Location: Syracuse, NY (5 days on-site) Pay: Up to $28/hour Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Reporting • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations • Assist in monthly financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations • Support budgeting and forecasting processes Accounts Payable/Receivable • Process vendor invoices and credits accurately and on time • Maintain organized AP/AR records • Provide back-up support for Accounts Payable Compliance & Audit Support • Ensure adherence to internal accounting controls • Assist in preparing schedules for audits and tax filings Systems & Collaboration • Use ERP systems and Excel to manage and analyze financial data • Work with department managers to resolve discrepancies • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required) • 1–3 years of accounting experience (required) • Experience with ERP systems and inventory/cost accounting (preferred) • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities • High level of integrity and professionalism #toponehire
