Manufacturing & Process Engineer Location: North Haven, CT Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 Base Salary + 6% Annual Bonus Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday-Friday About the Opportunity Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Manufacturing & Process Engineer to join its engineering team. This individual will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing equipment downtime, and supporting operational excellence throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation. • Partner with production and maintenance teams to improve efficiency, productivity, and equipment reliability. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions. • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, A3, TPM, and 5S activities. • Evaluate capital equipment investments through ROI and payback analysis. • Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements. • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, process instructions, and facility layouts. • Interface with customers, vendors, quality, production, and leadership teams to resolve technical and operational challenges. • Support predictive maintenance and data-driven process improvement initiatives. • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process issues to identify and implement sustainable solutions. • Provide technical support across engineering, quality, maintenance, procurement, and production functions. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments. • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving techniques. • CAD experience required. • Familiarity with quality systems and process optimization tools. • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
