1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist – Milling Department Bethel, CT | Full-Time | $25/hour + DOE A growing precision manufacturing company in the Bethel area is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to support its Milling Department. This is a hands-on production role for a candidate who can operate, and maintain quality on CNC lathe equipment while working to print. Responsibilities • Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision components • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing drawings • Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools • Make tool offsets and minor adjustments to maintain tolerances • Deburr, inspect, and prepare finished parts for the next operation • Meet daily production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area • Communicate quality or production issues to supervision Requirements • Prior CNC lathe operation experience required • Ability to hold tight tolerances in a production environment • Strong blueprint-reading and measurement skills • Experience with CNC milling is a plus • Mastercam experience is a plus • Dependable, quality-focused, and able to work independently Compensation • $25.00 per hour, plus additional compensation based on experience • Full-time opportunity with a stable precision manufacturer #zip
