Position Summary: The driver position is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle, and providing prompt and complete collection services.   Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs complete pre and post operation inspection of a commercial vehicle in accordance with FCC policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels; safety equipment, gauges, etc. are in proper working order   • Responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles on assigned routes to include highways, residential communities, and alleyways • Operates manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with FCC's safety policies and procedures • Courteously interacts with all necessary personnel, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis to ensure all services are completed in a timely and professional manner • Continuously monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time • Accurately completes required documents and other reports as required • Maintains adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner • Responsible for adhering to and upholding all safety policies and procedures Job Qualifications Education: • High School diploma or GED Experience and Competencies: • Garbage/Recycling experience preferred • Valid CDL Class A or B • Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary • Must meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations • Must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse Benefits • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) • Short-Term & Long-Term Disability • Training & Development FCC Environmental Services, LLC operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
