In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting finished metal components to ensure they meet quality standards, customer specifications, and cosmetic requirements before shipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in maintaining high-quality workmanship in a precision manufacturing environment. Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities: • Inspect polished metal parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. • Examine surfaces for scratches, dents, pits, discoloration, polishing defects, and other cosmetic imperfections. • Verify dimensions, finishes, and workmanship using measuring tools, gauges, and visual inspection techniques. • Approve, reject, or identify parts requiring rework based on established quality standards. • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. • Communicate quality concerns and non-conforming products to supervisors and production personnel. • Work closely with the Metal Polishing team to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Quality Assurance Inspector Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cosmetic and dimensional defects. • Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications. • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gauges preferred. • Ability to accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production teams. • Basic computer skills for data entry and quality documentation. • Ability to stand, walk, and perform inspections throughout an entire shift. • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as needed. • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement. • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Schedule: • Full-Time – Monday – Friday 6 am – 2:30 pm Pay Rate: • $18.50/hr.
