If you have experience operating milling machines and take pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe work environment, we'd love to hear from you. Core Responsibilities • Set up, operate, and monitor milling machines, including CNC horizontal, vertical, and bar feed lathes, to cut, drill, bore, grind, and shape metal and other solid materials. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to produce parts within precise tolerances. • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards. • Perform routine machine maintenance, replace worn tools and components, and keep equipment clean and in proper working condition. • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. • Record machine settings, materials used, and production data for quality control and reporting. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding machine performance, maintenance needs, and production issues. Qualifications • Experience operating milling machines, preferably CNC equipment. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. • Knowledge of basic machining processes and manufacturing safety practices. • Ability to work independently while meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment. • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
