Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a seasonal travel assignment. The position is available for the 3 PM to 11 PM shift, Monday through Friday, in the main operating room setting. Unit Information • Number of Beds: 284 • Number of Staff: 55 • Day Shift Staff: 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, 1 Trauma Tech (variable) • Night Shift Staff: 1 RN, 1 Tech, 2 RN on-call, 2 Techs on-call • Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:2, estimated but not guaranteed • Type of Equipment: DaVinci Robotics • EMR System: Meditech / CPN Qualifications • Required: • Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience • BLS & ACLS certifications • Preferred: • Experience in large trauma operating room facilities • Robotics experience highly preferred • Prior experience with Meditech Typical Procedures Staff in this unit will engage in a variety of procedures, including: • Vascular/Hybrid OR surgeries • Trauma and Neuro surgeries Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a proficient team player. Unit Guidelines/Policies • 30-minute response time required for on-call duties • On-call hours: 5 PM – 11 PM, Monday through Friday (no overnight shifts required) • Scrubs provided for the OR and surgical techs Why Join Us?
