Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and specialized environment. Unit Overview The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a highly specialized 20-bed unit focused on delivering top-quality care for patients undergoing various open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. Our team utilizes advanced technology and specialized equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Special Equipment Utilized • Intra-aortic balloon pumps • Impella devices • Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) • Epicardial pacemakers Schedule Requirements The schedule varies from 7 AM to 7 PM. Registered Nurses in this role are required to work 2 major holidays out of the 3 (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve). Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an ICU or similar specialty. • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification are required. • Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is preferred. • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is a plus.
