Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry Unit Information Unit Type: CC4 Telemetry Location: Aurora, CO General Information: • Number of Beds: 345 (3-time Magnet Designation) • Number of Staff: Approximately 80 in float pool • Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5 on days and nights, may vary by unit • Types of Equipment: Various • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech / CPN Qualifications Required Skills: • Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Preferred Skills: • Strong telemetry experience • Chemotherapy Certification (this would allow scheduling on oncology unit) Unit Procedures The unit serves a large cardiac population with two telemetry floors and a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floor. Staff may be required to float across all inpatient medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units.
