Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Unit: Mother Baby Location: Lone Tree, CO General Information This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Mother/Baby unit. The unit is equipped with 26 beds and has a dedicated staff for optimal patient care. Staffing Information • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 7-8 RNs, 1 Lactation Consultant • Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 6-7 RNs Patient Care Ratios • Typical ratios: 1:3 to 1:4 (estimates, not guaranteed) Equipment and Systems • EMR: Meditech / CPN Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • 1 year of current Mother/Baby hospital experience • BLS and NRP certifications Preferred Qualifications: • Lactation experience • Experience with transitions Typical Procedures • Circumcisions • Education for newborn parents on safety and health Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be compassionate, caring, patient, friendly, and have a positive can-do attitude.
