Cath Lab Tech Position Overview The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for providing high-quality care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role involves scrubbing and monitoring during interventional cardiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Job Duties • Scrub and monitor during procedures • Assist with interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular cases • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care Shift Information • Shift Length: 8 or 10 hours • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week • Possible Shift Patterns: 4x10s or 5x8s Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting • Current certifications in ACLS, ARRT, and BLS • Demonstrated competence and prior experience in the Cath Lab Unit Details • Number of Suites/Labs: 4 • Average Number of Cases per Day: 10-15 • Common Diagnoses: Interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular conditions Scheduling Information • Supervisory staff will handle scheduling • Weeknight and weekend call requirements • Holiday call requirements • Call response time is 30 minutes • Occasional floating to other procedural areas may be necessary based on census Orientation and Training • Unit-specific orientation: 3 shifts • Scrubs are provided for all staff To apply for this position, please follow standard application procedures and submit your resume highlighting relevant experience and certifications.
