Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Location Elmhurst, IL Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, and candidates must demonstrate expertise in emergency care practices. Contract Details • Contract Length: 8-12 weeks, with the possibility of extension • Scheduled Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week • Shift Timing: Nights, from 7 PM to 7 AM • Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend, including night shifts on Friday and Saturday • Holiday Requirements: Working on assigned holidays is mandatory Orientation Schedule • Duration: 2-3 shifts (24-36 hours) • Non-Billable Orientation: 12-16 hours Experience Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing • Preferred: 5 or more years of experience • New graduates will not be accepted License and Certification Requirements • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License • Basic Life Support (BLS) • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) • Experience with Epic EMR required Floating and On-Call Requirements No floating or on-call duties are required for this position.
