Registered Nurse (RN) Location Elmhurst, IL Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations. Schedule Details • Shift: 12 hours • Weekly Hours: 36 hours • Shift Timing: Nights, 7 PM – 7 AM Orientation Schedule Initial orientation will consist of 2-3 shifts, totaling 24-36 hours. Additionally, there will be a non-billable orientation of 12-16 hours. Contract Length The position is available for a duration of 8-12 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs. Weekend and Holiday Requirements • Every 3rd weekend required, night shifts on Friday and Saturday nights • Holidays are mandatory Experience Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required • Preferred: 5+ years of ER experience Licensure and Certifications • Current Illinois RN license • Basic Life Support (BLS) • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification • Experience with Epic system is required Additional Information Qualified candidates will be required to submit a resume, two professional references, a skills checklist, and verification of certifications and licensure.
