Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room Location Elmhurst, IL Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and be prepared to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room. • Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols. • Monitor and document patients’ conditions accurately and timely. • Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans. Schedule Details • 12-hour shifts • 3p-3a schedule • Working 36 hours per week Weekend and Holiday Requirements • Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday nights) • Holidays as required Experience Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; 5+ years preferred. • Previous Emergency Room experience is a plus. Licensure and Certifications • Valid Illinois RN license • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required • NIHSS certification preferred • Experience with Epic Healthcare software is preferred Contract Details • Contract length of 8-12 weeks, with potential for extension • Orientation involving 2-3 shifts (24-36 hours) along with 12-16 hours of non-billable orientation If you are a dedicated RN looking to make a meaningful impact in emergency care, we encourage you to apply.
