Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Location Chippenham, VA Unit Information • Number of Beds: 3 cath labs • Number of Staff: 10-11 staff per day in the cath lab • Staff Types: • Day Shift: Mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists • Night Shift: Not applicable • Patient Ratios: 3 staff per room • Type of Equipment: GE X-ray/MacLab • EMR: Meditech Typical Hiring Profile Skill Set Requirements: • Must Have: Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab • Preferred: Experience in a high-volume lab handling complex cases Typical Procedures Performed • Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations • Impella and balloon-pump procedures • Peripheral cases • Complex PCIs • Occasional device placements Best Personality Fit • Easy-going, kind, and friendly • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, busy lab environment Required Certifications • RN, RCIS, or RT Unit Guidelines and Policies • Maintain professionalism at all times • Attendance is crucial • Availability to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of callback Work Schedule On-call availability is required for some weekends and weekdays.
