Operating Room Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Dulles, VA. This role involves working in a dynamic surgical environment with a focus on orthopedic procedures. Shift Information • Schedule: Monday – Friday • Hours: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM Unit Information • Unit Name: Operating Room • Number of Beds: 2 Operating Rooms • Patient Ratios: 1:1 • Staffing Description: Circulator, scrub, and assistant available • Documentation System: Paper charting • Type of Equipment: OR specific equipment Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in the Operating Room; experience with Ortho Spine required • Advanced Skills: Expertise in orthopedic procedures including Total Joints (Hips, Knees, Shoulders), Sports procedures (Arthroscopy, ACL, PCL), Spine surgeries (ACDF, Lumbar Laminectomy), Podiatry, and Hand surgeries • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS Additional Information The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedics and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and surgical excellence.
