Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Location: City, State • Number of Beds: 10 Labor Delivery Rooms (LDRs), 2 OB Emergency Department (OBED) • Staffing: 24 Bedside Registered Nurses (RNs) • Core Day Shift Staff: 3 RNs, 1 Scrub Technician, 1 Unit Secretary • Patient Ratios: 2:1, high-risk 1:1 or 2:1 if stable General Information Electronic Medical Records (EMR): CPN (Centricity), Meditech Typical Hiring Profile • Required Skills: • Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) • BLS (Basic Life Support) • O.R. Circulator experience • Preferred Skills: • Bilingual • Scrub Technician skills Typical Procedures • Cesarean Sections • BTLs (Bilateral Tubal Ligation) / Salpingectomies Best Personality Fit We are seeking an open-minded candidate who is adaptable and works well within a team-oriented environment.
