Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join our dynamic Operating Room (OR) team. The RNFA will play a pivotal role in surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and support during operations. Shift Details • Shift Type: Day Shift • Shift Length: 8 hours • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week • Weekend Requirement: One weekend of call per month • Call Requirement: One call night per week • Response Time for Call: 30 minutes Operating Room Details • Unit: Operating Room • Number of OR Suites: 7 • Number of Cases per Day: 15-20 Certifications and Qualifications • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification • Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in OR settings • Travel Experience: Preferred but not required Technical and Operational Details • Electronic Medical Records: Cerner Surginet • Common Types of Cases: High volume of orthopedic surgeries (including total joints), general, gynecological, pediatric, and ophthalmic cases.
