Occupational Therapist (OT) Unit Information Location: City, State • Number of Beds: 32 • Staff: Approximately 35 therapists and 50 nurses • Type of Staff: • Day Shift: 8 Occupational Therapists, 8 Physical Therapists, 1 Rehab Aide, 7 Nurses, 3 Patient Care Technicians, 1 Unit Coordinator • Night Shift: Not Applicable • Patient Ratios: Not Applicable. Expected treatment time: 5 to 12 hours per week • Type of Equipment: H200/L300, BURT • EMR System: Meditech Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our inpatient rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong initiative and demonstrate knowledge in inpatient rehab practices. Key Responsibilities • Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients • Implement and oversee treatment plans for activities of daily living (ADLs) • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Qualifications **Required Skills:** • Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team **Preferred Skills:** • Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred • Availability to work weekends (minimum of 2 shifts in a 4-week period) **Certifications Required:** • Basic Life Support (BLS) Personality Fit The ideal candidate should be outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable in the field. Dress Code Uniform: Black pants and olive scrub top are required. Floating Areas May require support in other inpatient rehabilitation units within the region. Weekends A minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 4-week period is required.
