Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU Position Overview This temporary, contract position is for a Registered Nurse in a Level 3-4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role involves working night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks. Unit Information • Location: North Austin, TX • Number of Beds: 97 • Number of Staff: 200 • Staffing Composition: • Days: Charge Nurses, RNs, CNAs, and Sitters • Nights: Primarily RNs, 1 Clerk • Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN • Equipment: Medfusion pumps, Alaris, Giraffe isolettes, GE monitors • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): CPN, Meditech Qualifications • Minimum Requirements: • 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience • Preferred Qualifications: • Experience as a travel RN Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and compassionate, contributing positively to the unit’s environment.
