Registered Nurse (RN) Postpartum Unit Information The Postpartum unit features: • Number of Beds: 25 • Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients • Staffing: • Day Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) and 4-5 nurses • Night Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) and 4-5 nurses Location City: McKinney, TX Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Postpartum unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in mother-baby care and exhibit a warm and engaging demeanor. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive care for postpartum mothers and manage GYN surgeries. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Monitor patients’ recovery and provide education on postpartum care. Qualifications Required: • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification • Experience in mother-baby care Preferred: • Additional certifications relevant to postpartum nursing Personality Fit The ideal candidate should demonstrate a warm and bubbly personality, fostering a supportive and positive environment for patients and staff.
