Occupational Therapist (OT) Location City, State Job Description The Occupational Therapist is responsible for facilitating the development and rehabilitation of individuals with physical disabilities. The primary goal is to maximize the functional status of patients during their hospital stay. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including: • Evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs. • Participating in discharge planning. • Performing administrative duties and participating in performance improvement initiatives. • Pursuing professional growth and development. • Performing other duties as assigned. Work Schedule This position requires a schedule of 4 days a week, specifically from Monday to Thursday. Weekend shifts may also be required. General Information • Setting: Inpatient • Contract Duration: 13 Weeks • Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience or the ability to function independently. • Caseload: 6-8 patients per day. • Documentation System: ReDoc for outpatient and MedHost for inpatient. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or higher. • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Arizona.
