Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit Unit Information Unit: PC2 Progressive Care Location: Aurora, CO Number of Beds: 345 – 3-time Magnet Designation Staffing: Float pool of approximately 80 staff members Patient Ratios: 1:5 during day and night shifts, which may vary between units Type of Equipment: Various medical equipment Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Job Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs. • Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and policies. • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans. • Maintain patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Required: • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care experience in a Progressive Care Unit. • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. Preferred: • Experience with Meditech software. • Chemo certification to provide care on the Oncology unit.
