Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery Unit Information Location: Denver, CO Unit Type: Labor and Delivery Number of Beds: 29 Staff: 148 • Day Shift: 22 RNs, 2-3 CSTs, 1 Charge, 1 Flex • Night Shift: 20 RNs, 1-2 CSTs, 1 Charge, 1 Flex Patient Ratios: 2:1 Type of Equipment: Centricity and GE monitors EMR: Meditech / CPN Qualifications • Must Have: • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D experience • BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certifications • Preferred: • Experience with Meditech • PACU experience • Operating Room experience Typical Procedures Performed • Vaginal and cesarian section deliveries • D&C, Hysterectomy, PP tubal • Cerclage placement and versions • Care for high-risk obstetric patients Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently while also effectively supporting fellow teammates.
