Speech Therapist Unit Information This position is within an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. • Number of Beds: 44 • Number of Staff: 2 Speech Therapists • Patient Ratios: 1:8/10 • Type of Equipment: • MBS Suite • Vital Stim • IOPI • EMST150 • Bioness BITs • EMR: Yes Qualifications Required: • Valid VA License/CCCs • Experience with adult patient population in a medical setting Preferred: • Neuro experience • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Evaluating and treating patients with various swallowing and speech language diagnoses • Conducting Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies Best Personality Fit Ideal candidates will exhibit: • Patient-focused approach • Team-oriented mindset • Flexibility in both work style and scheduling Additional Information Floating Areas: Candidates may float to acute hospital units as needed.
