Staffing and Patient Ratios • Day Shift: 4-6 RNs depending on census, with a patient ratio of 1:6 • Night Shift: 4-6 RNs depending on census, with a patient ratio of 1:6 • Estimated patient ratios can vary between 1:1 to 3:1 Equipment and Technology • Type of Equipment: Remote telemetry • EHR System: Meditech Qualifications Required Skills: • A minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care Med/Surg experience • Current BLS certification Preferred Skills: • Experience in surgical and medical care • Excellent customer service skills Typical Procedures • Cholecystectomy • Appendectomy • Medical management Personality Fit The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing personality, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and outstanding customer service skills.
